Paradoxes

Is it just me or does the amount of interest an older sibling shows in a baby directly related to the amount of snot he is producing at the time?

How does a kid get sick during a blizzard when they are basically quarantined by mother nature?

How is it that there is a single most adorable baby in the whole world. And every mother has her, including me?

Why is the only time my baby naps for more than a half hour when her brother is making as much noise as humanly possible?

As much as a two month old sleeps, you would think naps would overlap at least one in awhile, but it almost never happens. (Maybe she has figured out she gets undivided attention when it's quiet?)

The snow is finally almost gone, but I'm having a hard time getting back in the groove.

So until I can safety get my head above water and find a little time to blog - a little cuteness to distract from my slacking -

She's indeed a cutie pie. You must both be prouder than punch. Of course you are. Enjoy every moment. You aren't slacking either.

Have a terrific day. :)

The second ones always learn to sleep with lots of noise. No noise = no sleep.

That is some serious cuteness. That makes me almost want to have another...but three is enough. ;)

Don't worry about slacking. Post when you feel like it. We'll all still be here!

Give it time, I had all my kids napping at the same time when the little ones were about 5 months. It will happen, I promise.

Oh she does have a serious case of cute!!!! Love that smile!

And it is the Evil Kid Consortium that won't let them overlap naps. They are all in on it!

She is incredibly adorable! Hope you get some rest, sounds like an exhausting schedule and I'm paying close attention cause this will be me in 4/5 months!

What a perfect little face. Gosh I miss those days. As far as overlapping naps, my brain was in a sleep deprived haze back when my boys were both little (so I guess that means they didn't have overlapping naps either.) Sorry, I've got nothing on how to make that one happen.

Awww...she's so cute!!

And they will, in time, nap at the same time. But be prepared to be patient. My baby is only now at 10 months switching to one nap a day, so they finally nap together. It's a relief when it does happen.
