Goals

Today's goals:

Don't get caught while sneaking candy in the kitchen.

Listen to one whole CD of grown up music. (Bonus points will be awarded for having a dance party with the kiddos.)

Say "yes" all day unless there is a really solid reason for saying "no".

Put on earrings, clean clothes and a little make up.

Drink one cup of tea before it gets cold.

Give the hubby a few extra kisses. (He definitely deserves them. I've been a bit of a bear lately.)

If I can pull off all that I'm going to call it a good day.

Clean houses are over rated...right?

I demand that you follow through on that whole list. It's brilliance!

Clean houses are TOTALLY overrated!!! These sound like pretty good goals to me - I may have to adopt a couple of them myself...

I love the say Yes one.

And in my opinion, clean houses exist only on TV.

I'd like the clean house thing. Mine isn't real bad, but some deep cleaning here and there is in order.

As for your list. I'd say it's a great list and if you can pull it off it will indeed be a red letter day.

Have a super day. :)

Amen to the grown up music CD! I teach teachers, and I had a tendency to play a lot of children's music in my classes. Then one day it hit me, these people are SICK of hearing children's music! They hear it all day! So now I play fun grown up stuff instead.

Love those goals....you can do it! Save clean house for another day!

Sounds realistic and on track to me.

And if you need a good CD that won't annoy you but kids like too, check out Justin Robert's "Yellow Bus." I love it and my son does too ... adn you can listen to it over and over and over and over...

Good luck with your day. All sounds doable. And like I always say, no one ever died of dust. Or if they did, I don't want to know about it.

Yes, you'll feel more like keeping up with the house when you can first keep up with yourself and the children. Give it a few months.

By the way, don't know if I ever said it before (ignore this if I did) but I love your blog layout and design. It is cute and unique.

My, you are courageous. That's quite a list. There are many more interesting things to do than clean house.
Hope spring has come to your world.

I haven't had a clean house since 1994. But I'm having a hell of a great time!

Hubby loves you. And so do I!

All those sound way better than housework! Plus, my excuse is - it's greener to be less cleaner! Or something... : )
