RTT-The Cliches Edition

What better way to ease myself back into blogging than joining in on the random fun with The Un-Mom and my new friend - Bitchin' Wives Club

randomtuesday

Now that I have a second little one, certain things have become crystal clear.

I was a big, world class whiner the first round.

Really...world class...super grade A bitchin'

I probably could have earned a gold medal in over reacting and crying for no reason.

The two year old is approximately 800 times the work of the 11 week old.

It's probably for the best that I didn't realize how much more exciting things got once they get mobile.
******************

I am so freaking ready for spring.

Last year, we got 6 inches of snow.

Total...for the entire winter.

This year we had the largest snow fall in all of recorded history with a whopping 60 inches.

I'm over it.
***********************
Turns out our biological clocks start ticking even louder and sooner than previously thought - Ovaries have not adjusted to many women's decision to delay having children

It's not fair.

But I'm glad we're at least getting information so that women can make informed decisions about their choices.

Vienna! Really? And Jake is going to be on Dancing with the Stars?

WTF

************************

I love being a mom. I really do. But the one two punch of blizzards and illness on top of a new baby really knocked me on my behind. I'm still trying to pick myself back up.

Today is the first day my son went to preschool in quite a while.

And I was way more excited than I should be.

I hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday!

Glad you are feeling better. That's an awful lot of snow too. Wow, must be that global warming thing.

Have a terrific day. :)

I think Jake is crazy. I wasn't sold on Tenley either though. I think he missed the boat not begging Alli to stay.

I was so bummed but not altogether surprised that he chose Vienna last night. I must say that I do not want to watch him dance. Nor do I want to watch Kate Gosselin dance.

I am ready for spring too and we didn't even get 60 inches!

I personally think the challenges of each stage are just harder because you've mastered the previous ones and new ones throw you for a loop.

And I so relate to the return to school. School = a mother's sanity!

60 inches? 7 more inches and it would have snowed ME! (That sounded so much better in my head.)

60 inches? That's ridiculous. No wonder you're sick of it. I do hope the snow goes away soon and by soon I'm hoping March 16th because that's when I think I'll be in your area.

It seems that people yearning for spring is becoming the popular theme these days. Every where I go, that seems to be what I read.

The Bachelor dude made the wrong choice.

Mine were 20 months apart and I had a little body-memory shiver when I read your first segment. The toddler was WAY more work than the infant. But maybe the infant is so easy because you've already done it - and recently - so it almost feels reflexive, while the toddler is new territory? Because I'm very happy to tell you that when my youngest hit toddlerhood, it was WAY easier for me than when the eldest did.

(oh - reading through your comments, seems like Jenners said pretty much the same thing...)

I was always overly super-joyed when my kiddo went back to preschool after a break! I think we all are.

Hey, what? Aren't our ovaries getting the memos?? What's up with that??

:)

Yeah, babies are easy. But I think we're all whiners the first time around :)

glad you're feeling better!
